Just a quick
blurb about me yanked from the front page for now.
The evening is
the best time to catch me online, but i could be on at any time.
Speaking of evening, my timezone is GMT +10:00, Eastern Australian
Time. I have been living here for two and a half years (as of December
2001). I am currently living in shared accomodation with three others,
and a cat (Jamie), i've just found a new flatmate, and she'll be moving
in over the next week or two.
I moved to Sydney
at the end of July 1999 to further my career as a IT Professional
at (Unix Administrator). Previously I lived in Canberra for Sixteen
years, the latter 6 months of as a Unix Administrator for Department
of Primary Industries and Energy.
I used to be a
menber of the PC User Group for about 4-5 years, i have discontinued
my membership for now, i used to have a mild involvement in the
creation of the groups monthly magazine "Sixteen Bits" in the way
of creating covers for the Magazine, i have done the April 1998
Edition and the July 1998 Edition (PDF lost)
I am working for British Telecom (BT) in their customer support Office,
it's a new job for me, but somewhere i really like, despite it being a
shift job, which isn't that bad in itself. But the crew i work with, and
my bosses and team leaders are a fantastic bunch of people!!!!
I have high hopes for this place, especially as i am in the process of
buying a new car, and i need a steady job for the next few yers to enable
me to pay it off hehe.
Please look at
my Resume If you would like to find out
more about me and my credentials. Or you could email me at michael@whileyouwereout.net
